Before Your Shoot

This page covers everything you need to know ahead of your shoot, so you can feel relaxed, prepared, and ready to create.

What to expect on the day

  • Arrival
Please arrive on time — we’ll have around 10 minutes to chat and settle in before we start shooting (this is built into your session).

  • Settling in
We’ll go through outfits, ideas, and anything you’ve brought with you.

  • Shooting
I’ll work with you throughout — you don’t need to know how to pose. The setup is very collaborative, and we’ll shape things together as we go.

  • After the shoot
I’ll guide you through selecting your final images, and you’ll have the option to purchase additional retouches if you’d like. I’ll send full details after the session.

Location

  • The studio is based in Willesden Green on the Jubilee Line. I’ll email you the full address the day before your shoot.

  • Free parking is available immediately outside.

  • One flight of stairs to access the space.

  • Tea, coffee, and various milks are available — it’s a very relaxed, informal environment.

How to Prepare

  • Outfits
Bring a few options you feel like yourself in - accessories are welcome too. We can refine this together on the day.

  • Moodboards / references
You’re very welcome to send these in advance, especially if you have something specific in mind.

  • Hair & makeup
Most people arrive (almost) ready, but you’re welcome to do touch ups here - just let me know if you’ll need extra time.
A professional makeup artist can be booked for £150 (or is included if you booked a Full Creative session).

  • Bringing someone
Shoots tend to work best as a focused one-on-one environment, but if having someone with you would help you feel more comfortable, feel free to mention it in advance.

  • Behind the scenes
You’re very welcome to capture a bit of behind-the-scenes content during the shoot if you’d like - it can be a nice way to document the process or share your experience. Just let me know beforehand so we can make space for it.

If you have any questions at all before the shoot, just let me know - I’m always happy to help.
